Attalla, Alabama: For lying about eating candy bars, Joyce Hardin Garrard (grandmother) and Jessica Mae Hardin, step-mother forced Savannah Hardin to run three hours as punishment. Shortly thereafter, this baby died from seizures due to dehydration and low salt.
How did this little girl run for that length of time? Imagine her fear of worse punishment if she failed to perform this despicable act?
Why aren’t there stronger punishments for child abuse? There are hate crime laws for gays who are murdered. Why, for the love of God, isn’t the death penalty enforced when an innocent baby is murdered? Was this the first time she was abused in such a manner? Imagine the death penalty as the ultimate punishment; would there be less child abuse? Me thinks so.
The Yahoo article, Jessica’s husband, Robert claimed she was bi-polar with drinking problems. Just watch, she’ll file an insanity plea and will not see jail time. Tossing your cookies yet?
